Employment Based Immigration

United States immigration laws work towards the interests of potential workers and U.S.  employers, which is why there are several methods for an employer to petition a foreign worker.

United States immigration laws also protects U.S. workers by allowing for employment-based immigration for foreign workers only if there is no domestic worker with the skills and education necessary to fulfill the job.

However, there are cases in which highly-skilled foreign workers can obtain employment-based visas without their employer having to refer to the domestic workforce.
